Day 1: Pick-Up from Kampala/Entebbe – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Your 5-day Uganda gorilla and wildlife safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe. Meet your professional driver-guide and begin the journey westward toward Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most renowned wildlife destinations.
Enjoy scenic views of Uganda’s countryside, local communities, farmlands, and rolling hills along the way. Upon arrival in the park, proceed for an afternoon game drive, with opportunities to spot elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, warthogs, and other wildlife. Continue to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Safari

Wake up early for a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, when wildlife is most active. Explore the park’s savannah plains in search of elephants, lions, buffaloes, Uganda kob, leopards, and other wildlife.
After lunch, enjoy a boat safari on the famous Kazinga Channel, one of Uganda’s best wildlife-viewing experiences. The channel is home to large concentrations of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and numerous water birds. After the boat cruise, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. Accompanied by experienced guides and Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers, enter the ancient Bwindi rainforest in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family.
The trek can take several hours depending on the location of the gorillas and forest conditions. Once you locate the gorillas, enjoy a remarkable encounter observing their behavior, social interactions, and daily activities in their natural habitat.
After the trek, return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.
Day 5: Transfer to Entebbe/Kampala or Kigali
